Promoter Assistant (12 month Paternity Cover) - FORM
Hours: Full Time - 35 Hours per week (excluding breaks) + overtime as may be required from time-to-time for the completion of your role

More about the role:
A rare opportunity to join the bookings team at FORM as a day-to-day assistant to a key promoter and company director; working directly with them and their team to assist the programming, promotion and delivery of over 300 events a year.
Core responsibilities include but are not limited to:
* Assisting the promoter and their team across their entire company responsibilities
* Liaising with talent agents and managers; establishing tour periods, holding dates, and preparing financial offers and settlements
* Preparing post event financial reports for the company finance department and company directors
* Liaising with company production departments and freelancers to support technical advancing
* Liaising between company marketing departments and artists, providing marketing assets for couse, delivery plans and event campaign reports
* Preparing pre-announcement set-up parameters including ticketing and production specifics
* Liaising with venues, establishing holds, securing dates, negotiating rentals and finalising post show settlements
* Providing proactive A&R / talent scouting for headline touring
* Sourcing regional and national support talent options
* Support the preparation and delivery of original, proactive and pioneering marketing reporting for artists, agents and managers
* Provide company event representation at events across the FORM programme
* Provide support across broader company projects and work as required
* Working with the full team across positive drives towards EDI, environmental and work culture within FORM, supporting the Directors and rest of team to be leaders within the industry
Required Skills:
* An understanding of the entire process of programming, marketing and delivering an event within the live sector
* A proven track record of organising and running successful events within live music, either by yourself or as part of a wider organisation
* A strong understanding of the genres and artists promoted by FORM
* Knowledge of the UK touring circuit, including A, B and C markets
* Pre-existing relationships with key stakeholders within the live sector preferred
* Proficiency in Mac operating systems
* Proficiency in MS Office
* Knowledge of Adobe Suite programmes preferred
